Magellium Artal Group is seeking a Product Owner / GIS Business Analyst to lead the redesign and evolution of a GIS within the Paris GIS Unit. You will bridge business, functional, and technical teams through scoping, design and acceptance testing, translating needs into concrete features.

You bring at least 5 years in GIS, strong QGIS and ESRI knowledge, and experience with Agile methods and open-source transitions. The role offers meaningful projects and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of GIS experience in roles such as Product Owner or Business Analyst.
• Degree in geomatics, computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Proficiency in GIS concepts, QGIS, data modeling, and Agile.

Responsabilités

• Gather and analyze the needs of users and business units.
• Define the functional scope of GIS developments.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements and features.
• Design functional solutions with the technical teams.
• Draft detailed functional specifications.
• Model geographic data and specifications.
• Prepare, manage and monitor functional specifications for software development.
• Coordinate between functional, technical and business teams.
• Monitor developments to ensure they meet requirements.
• Support evolution to open-source architecture and migration considerations.
• Participate in project governance and regular reporting.
