IXO is seeking German voice talent for a customer-service voice-cloning project. You will record conversational, narrative, and instructional scripts with expressive but natural delivery.

The role requires a native German speaker based in Germany, clear diction, and the ability to maintain consistent pronunciation and vocal identity. The session is about four hours, with potential for a second session; pay is $55–$105 per hour USD, based on time.

Your work at IXO

Record German speech for an IXO customer-service voice-cloning engagement. Your recordings may be used to synthesize your voice, so participation requires a separate, informed agreement covering the specific permitted uses.

Recording work

• Perform conversational, narrative and instructional scripts with expressive but natural delivery.
• Keep pronunciation, accent and vocal identity stable throughout the session.
• Produce alternate takes that vary emphasis, emotion, energy or pacing when requested.
• Follow the microphone, room and file-format instructions, then check each recording before delivery.

Voice profile and setup

This track requires a native German speaker currently in Germany. You need clear diction, controlled intonation and enough expressive range to make scripted speech sound credible. Maintain the intended meaning and wording while avoiding an overly mechanical reading.

Use a professional or near-professional recording environment: a good microphone, a quiet space and appropriate plosive protection. Prior paid voice acting is welcome but is not mandatory. Experience with narration, broadcasting, TTS recordings, audiobooks or phone-system voices is useful, as is familiarity with Audacity, Audition, Reaper or a similar editor.

Session, consent and pay

The expected recording session is approximately four hours. A further session may be proposed separately; it is not guaranteed. Before recording, IXO will confirm the script scope, session arrangements, technical acceptance criteria, and the voice-cloning consent and use terms. Do not submit an unsolicited personal voice archive through the application.

Pay is $55 $105/hr in USD, based on agreed labor time. This hourly recording assignment is separate from any finished-audio or fixed-submission opportunity.
