CNRS, UMR PASSAGES, located at Maison des Suds, Esplanade des Antilles in PESSAC, on the Bordeaux Montaigne Campus, invites applications for a recognised researcher role in Geography/Architecture/Sociology.

The successful candidate will join the ESPROTER programme, contribute to its management, conduct surveys and interviews, perform GIS analyses, and disseminate results to local stakeholders, with regular travel to the Perigord region.

Qualifications

• Experience with surveys and technical interviews.
• Knowledge of GIS and cartography concepts.
• Ability to develop innovative methods for field research.
• Experience coordinating projects and supervising placements.

Responsabilités

• Assess the relationship between residents in Périgord and invasive/likely-damaging species.
• Establish a science-society mediation scheme with local stakeholders.
• Translate local experience into a replicable methodological approach.
• Conduct surveys and interviews; process data; perform textual analysis.
• Create graphical representations and GIS outputs; present results; disseminate findings.
