Comand AI is building next‑generation C2 software used in live defense deployments. You’ll join the engineering team, own end‑to‑end features on Prevail, and work on geospatial data paths between backend and frontend.

We expect strong Python (FastAPI) and TypeScript, a full‑stack orientation, EU citizenship, and comfort with ambiguity. The role is Paris or London based with occasional client‑site travel, and offers base compensation plus equity.

Qualifications

• Full-stack experience preferred; if not full-stack, a genuinely strong backend lean is required.
• Comfortable owning a feature end to end: scoping it, building it, and deciding what not to build, without a PM pre-slicing the work.
• Solid Python (we use FastAPI) and TypeScript.
• EU citizenship (contractual requirement tied to our defense contracts).
• Real comfort with ambiguity: the roadmap here shifts with the deployment pipeline.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end features on Prevail, from scoping through shipping.
• Work on real geospatial problems with map-backed data flows and PostGIS queries.
• Build and harden ML/LLM workflow orchestration, with retries, queueing, and long-running jobs.
• Design for on-prem and appliance deployment, focusing on resource constraints.
• Spend time with users in the field when deployments call for it.
