Infinite Orbits in Toulouse seeks a Data Handling System Architect to define and validate the spacecraft's onboard DHS architecture, interfacing with avionics and onboard software. You will specify requirements for central OBC, memory, TM/TC interfaces, and data buses, and you will develop redundancy logic and ICDs with onboard and external systems.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in aerospace, avionics, embedded electronics or related field.
• 5+ years in satellite avionics or onboard data systems architecture.
• Deep understanding of ECSS-E-ST-70-41 (PUS), CCSDS TM/TC protocols, and redundancy concepts.
• Proven experience testing DHS at unit and system level during AIT campaigns.
• Familiarity with SCOS-2000, EGS-CC, or equivalent checkout systems.
• Clear written and verbal English for technical documentation.

Responsabilités

• Define onboard DHS architecture, including central OBC, memory, TM/TC interfaces, and data buses.
• Specify redundancy logic and autonomous switching; maintain ICDs with onboard/external systems.
• Develop FDIR strategies and software monitoring for the DHS.
• Coordinate with AIT teams to define DHS test procedures and validation campaigns.
• Support test script development for PUS service verification and DHS readiness reviews.
• Review supplier deliverables, test reports, and DHS integration plans.
• Validate end-to-end TM/TC data flows in sims, HITL setups, and final spacecraft configuration.
• Interface with Ground Segment teams to validate SCOS MIBs and TM/TC logic.
