Overview

The West and North West region provides acute and specialist hospital and community services to the West and North West of Ireland – counties Galway, Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo, Leitrim, Donegal and adjoining counties. The region comprises 7 hospitals across 8 sites: Letterkenny University Hospital (LUH), Mayo University Hospital (MUH), Portiuncula University Hospital (PUH), Roscommon University Hospital (RUH), Sligo University Hospital (SUH) incorporating Our Lady’s Hospital Manorhamilton.
