Job summary

Projecttech is seeking a General Installation Designer in the PACA region of France to model industrial installations in CATIA V5/V6 and to deliver drawings, BOMs and isometrics. You will update the digital model as projects evolve and participate in design reviews with cross-disciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has Bac+2/3 to Bac+5 in mechanical engineering and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with fluent French and technical English for project communication.

Qualifications

• Bac+2/3 to Bac+5 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in general installation and plant design.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6.
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID and layout drawings, with knowledge of RCC-M, EN, ISO.

Responsibilities

• 3D modeling of industrial installations using CATIA V5/V6.
• Produce general and detailed drawings, isometrics, BOMs and equipment lists.
• Update the digital model according to project evolution and change management.
• Participate in design reviews and technical meetings with engineering disciplines.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Nuclear Safety, Civil, and Fluids/HVAC teams.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and nuclear security standards.
