USIC Advanced Gas Operations seeks a Locator for field work locating gas lines and marking sites to prevent damage to underground utilities. You will use specialized equipment and may perform limited hand digging in designated areas.

No prior locating experience is required, but safety awareness, a valid driver's license, and ability to pass a drug screen are essential. We provide a company vehicle, comprehensive training, and opportunities for advancement in a fast-paced, safety-focused

Qualifications

• Experience outdoors is a plus and readiness to work in varying weather.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and maintain safety standards.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Comfort with basic map reading and use of locating tickets.

Responsabilités

• Use locating equipment to locate gas lines in a designated area and mark the area with paint and flags.
• Some hand digging to unearth gas lines may be required.
• Develop knowledge of underground utility infrastructure.
• Follow all company, client, state, and federal damage prevention guidelines.
• As a technician in AGO, you may locate other utilities in addition to gas lines.
• Daytime, full-time shifts with overtime, weekend and on-call work as needed.
