Job summary

Voodoo is seeking a Senior Unity C# Game Developer to lead architecture, feature development and design for casual games. You will work with Product Managers, Game Artists, and engineers to build robust systems, improve performance, and guide junior teammates.

Based in Paris, Beijing, or Warsaw with relocation support. Join a newly established internal studio dedicated to scaling a high-potential title and delivering a market-ready game.

Qualifications

• Advanced Unity knowledge including scripting in C# and UI systems.
• Experience with animation and particle systems in games.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimise memory, frame rate and load times.
• Experience with analytics-driven development and A/B testing in live games is a plus.

Responsibilities

This position is ideally Paris-based, Beijing- based or Warsaw-based, with relocation support available.

Team

You will be an integral part of a newly established internal studio, a dynamic and focused team dedicated to one of our most promising prototype in scale. This studio is specifically chartered to improve this high-potential game up to the successful and market-ready title it is meant to become.

In this exciting role, your initial focus will be on one of our new Midcore Games that have already demonstrated significant promise and captured our attention with their compelling core mechanics and engaging gameplay.

Role

We are looking for a senior Unity C# Game Developer who has been a primary contributor to the Game architecture, Feature development, and design for several casual games. You will collaborate with a variety of experts: Product Managers, Game Artists, Game Developers, Tech Engineers, Monetization Managers, Data Analysts...

Work closely with small teams of Unity Game Developers and Artists

Implement game logic and systems in C# using Unity

Adapt and work within an existing code base, enhancing its functionality, stability and performance

Provide guidance and share your expertise

Ensure timely delivery of high-quality results

Profile

Advanced Unity knowledge (3y+) including scripting in C#, UI systems, animation, particle systems, etc.

A critical thinker and a problem solver with a keen eye for identifying problems in workflows and processes (and driving them to a resolution)

Previous experience and exposure to the game production process (as part of a game dev studio or otherwise)

Skilled in identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing optimisations, with a strong focus on memory management, frame rate stability, and reducing load times

Experience with analytics-driven development and A/B testing in live games would be a plus

Excellent communication skills and a strong teamwork mindset

Good sense of gameplay experience and special attention to detail

Speak and write English
