A leading engineering firm in France is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with over 7 years in Oil & Gas EPC projects. You will coordinate quantity surveys, manage claims, and ensure compliance with standards. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and recommended to have knowledge in French, with Italian as a plus. This role requires full-time on-site work with no remote options.

BWS is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor with 7+ years' experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects. Role involves cost control, quantity verification, and claim management within an EPCm contract environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and validate contractor-submitted quantity surveys using advanced surveying software proficiency.

Estimate, verify, and anticipate quantities to support cost control and material planning, leveraging expert numerical and data analysis skills.

Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret contract elements and execution schemes, applying advanced transversal coordination and stakeholder management.

Advise on change requests, remesurable dossiers, claims, counterclaims, and disputes, utilizing advanced claim and dispute resolution expertise.

Oversee subcontractor work and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards, supported by confirmed commercial awareness.

Support risk management, value engineering, and cost control initiatives through expert communication and networking skills.

Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement efforts, sharing insights with expert-level written and verbal communication.

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects with remesurable-type contracts.

Strong understanding of engineering and construction principles.

Proven expertise in claim management, cost control, and contractual analysis.

Must be available to work full-time on-site (no remote work).

Fluent in English (mandatory); French (highly recommended); Italian (a plus).
