Job summary

Doctolib in Milano is seeking a Software Engineering Intern – Fullstack for a 6-month program. You will join a feature team building user‑facing healthcare tooling that directly supports care teams and patients.

You'll contribute across the stack using Rails, TypeScript, Java, Python, Kotlin, Swift and React Native, with AI-assisted coding tools and a focus on scalable, secure, and user‑friendly software. Hybrid work with up to 2 remote days per week; start date March 2027; total compensation

Qualifications

• Final year of degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Fluent in English.
• Interest in healthcare tech and AI.

Responsibilities

• Build and own features alongside experienced engineers — from design and development to testing and shipping — with a direct impact on real users.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to solve complex technical challenges and build scalable, secure, and user-friendly healthcare tools.
• Write clean, efficient code following industry best practices in design, testing, and peer review.
• Solve real-world problems that directly enhance patient care and improve doctor-patient relationships.
• Explore new tools and technologies, including AI and distributed systems, as part of your continuous growth.
• Contribute to a culture of learning and collaboration by sharing knowledge and engaging actively with your team.
