Alan is building the backbone of its billing platform in France, delivering a scalable engine that handles high transaction volumes with reliability. You will design reusable primitives, integrate with internal and external payment systems, and automate billing workflows across multiple products and regions.

We value engineers who thrive on solving complex business logic, collaborate well with cross-functional teams, and are comfortable with Python, Flask, React, and PostgreSQL.

Build the backbone of Alan’s financial systems

Billing is the platform behind every euro that flows through Alan, invoicing 40K+ companies across multiple countries and products with total accuracy. Our mission: turn complex, high-volume financial flows into systems that 'just work,' so members and companies never have to think about them.

As a Software Engineer on this team, you will:

• Build the core billing engine: process high volumes of transactions daily with precision and reliability.
• Design modular, reusable billing primitives and abstractions that scale across products and regions.
• Integrate seamlessly with internal systems and external payment platforms.
• Automate workflows and billing schedules at scale for companies of all sizes.
