No prior professional experience is required; the internship lasts at least 6 months and is sponsored by the university. It will be hosted in the Green Transition Business Unit and may lead to full-time opportunities.

About this job

The role of the intern in public policieswill be to provide supportin conducting policy evaluations, sectoral and technical studies, strategic support and consultancy projects for some of our major clients in France and at the European/international level e.g. French Regional Councils, French Agency for Development, French ADEME, European Commission (DG RTD, DG ENV, DG CLIMA, DG ENER), and multilateral development banks.
She or he will also be asked to contribute to the company’s business development activities (i.e. proposal preparation). She / he will be assigned to one of the Green Transition Business Unit,but may be required to work on projects linked to other policy areas as well.
No previous professional experience is required.
We are looking to recruit a full-time intern for at least 6 monthsstarting in Autumn 2026 or January 2027.Internship should be sponsored by the intern’s university (stage conventionné).

Your profile

We are looking for a curious and motivated individual who is interested in working as an entry level (i.e. analyst) in the field of public policies.
A specific interest or experience working on policies in our scope (green transition, climate policy, blue economy, climate finance, climate mitigation / adaptation, energy policy, environment, EU policy, etc.).
The person must have at least a Master’s level in a related field (e.g. public policy, economics, engineering, life sciences, etc.). Previous experiences working for the public sector / consulting would be considered a plus but is not a condition for eligibility.
Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and writing skills, independence and proactivity, effective time management, and strong interpersonal skills, particularly in cross-cultural contexts.
The candidate is expected to be fluent in French and/or English. Working knowledge of French as well as fluency of a third language would be considered an asset.
Many of our interns become full-time staff at Technopolis, or go on to take advantage of exciting opportunities in the public and the private sector.
