Qualifications

• Around 3 years of experience in software development.
• You have built and maintained web applications and APIs.
• Experience with back-end development (Node.js/Express) and PostgreSQL/Sequelize.
• Knowledge of React and modern web app architectures.
• Care for code quality and maintainability.
• Familiarity with monorepos, CI/CD, Kubernetes and Helm is a plus.

About the Role

As part of our Cross Functional Projects team, you will work on a variety of technical and business-driven projects with a direct impact on Diabolocom's operations and growth.

You'll join a hands-on team tackling important business challenges, where pragmatism, autonomy, and fast execution are key. From developing applications and internal tools to contributing to cross-functional initiatives, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your work, explore different technical challenges, and see your solutions make a tangible difference.

Your Responsibilities

Software Development

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs using React, Node.js (Express), PostgreSQL, and Sequelize.

• Ensure high code quality and maintainability, and contribute to managing our codebase within a monorepo architecture.

Strategic Projects

• Partner with a cross-functional project manager and collaborate with teams across Operations, Product, and IT to deliver strategic projects.

• Contribute throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial scoping and design to development, deployment, and post-production support.

Tooling & Infrastructure

• Enhance internal tools to improve workflows and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate on DevOps initiatives, with a focus on CI/CD, deployment automation, and orchestration using Kubernetes and Helm.

About You

Your Experience & Technical Skills

• You have around 3 years of experience in software development. Relevant apprenticeship experience is also welcome.

• You have experience building and maintaining web applications and APIs.

• You are comfortable with back-end development, particularly Node.js and Express, and have experience working with PostgreSQL and Sequelize.

• You have knowledge of React and modern web application architectures.

• You care about code quality, maintainability, and following sound development practices.

• Familiarity with monorepo architectures, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Helm is a plus.
