microTECH Global Limited is seeking a Frontend Team Manager in Paris to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of a sophisticated GUI for a professional EDA application. You will drive performance, scalability, and modern UI/UX practices across a global engineering team.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with backend groups, and establish high standards for code quality and design while shaping the product roadmap and talent development in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong expertise in UX/UI development using React, TypeScript or similar technologies.
• Solid experience in UI test automation using Playwright or similar frameworks.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with large-scale, complex desktop applications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Fluent French and English.

Responsabilités

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of a high-performance GUI for a professional EDA application.
• Ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance of the GUI framework.
• Drive adoption of modern UI/UX best practices while addressing semiconductor design constraints.
• Collaborate with backend teams for seamless integration.
• Oversee code quality, design reviews, and engineering standards.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and researchers.
• Manage and mentor a team of software engineers (junior to senior).
• Define goals, conduct performance reviews, and support career development.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Recruit and onboard new team members as needed.
