Job summary

Agoda is seeking an experienced Front-End Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers building scalable, high-performance web applications. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, and cross-functional engineering teams to develop user-facing applications and platforms at global scale.

You will shape architecture, drive frontend architecture decisions, oversee SSR, micro-frontends, and API integration, and champion performance, reliability, and maintainability

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience leading teams delivering large-scale web applications.
• Strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of web performance optimization, scalability, and frontend best practices.
• Experience integrating frontend apps with backend services via REST, GraphQL, or WebSockets.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers building scalable, reliable, and user-friendly web applications and product experiences.
• Drive the development of front-end and full-stack solutions across core product areas.
• Collaborate with product, design, data, and engineering teams to deliver intuitive and impactful customer experiences.
• Shape architecture across state management, SSR, micro-frontends, and API integration.
• Ensure features are performant, maintainable, observable, and production-ready.
• Mentor engineers and grow team capability in modern web engineering and product development practices.
