Jobtailor is seeking a frontend engineer for Paris to own and deliver high-impact features using React and TypeScript. You will collaborate with PMs and designers, review code, and maintain frontend standards while optimizing performance and managing technical debt.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of frontend experience, strong React/TS skills, and exposure to high-traffic B2C products. You will work with AI-powered tools to prototype and test new ideas, contributing to cross-functional groups

Qualifications

• 3+ years frontend development experience
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
• Experience with React Native
• Senior roles: mastery of application lifecycle, including architecture, app store releases, and code reviews
• Strong commitment to readable, testable, and maintainable code
• Ability to adapt a testing strategy to the project context
• Experience with a B2C product, ideally high-traffic
• Ability to understand user pain points and business challenges

• Contribute to defining frontend best practices with the Frontend Core Team and uphold them on a daily basis
• Conduct code reviews and maintain frontend standards and tooling
• Maintain and evolve the stack, including performance, technical debt, and upgrades
• Contribute to cross-functional Working Groups
• Foster team life through daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, demos, and knowledge sharing
• Use AI to accelerate work and experiment with practical use cases
• Develop frontend products for Ornikar learners studying the theory test, drivers, instructors, and candidates

Requirements

• At least 3 years of frontend development experience
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
• Experience with React Native
• For senior roles: mastery of the application lifecycle, including architecture, app store releases, and code reviews
• Strong commitment to code quality: readable, testable, and maintainable code
• Ability to adapt a testing strategy to the project context
• Experience with a B2C product, ideally one operating at high traffic volumes
• Ability to understand user pain points, identify business challenges, and act accordingly
• Comfortable speaking up in a team and enthusiastic about sharing knowledge
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools, particularly Claude Code and Cursor, and hands-on experience testing them
