Job summary

Jobgether on behalf of our partner company is seeking a Frontend Developer (React) based in France to join a product-focused development team building modern web applications. You will contribute to design, development, and continuous improvement of interactive, high-performance user interfaces in collaboration with web developers and technology leadership.

You will design and implement scalable frontend architectures, work with React, TypeScript, and REST APIs, and influence technical decisions

Qualifications

• Min. 3 years of professional web development experience, including at least 2 years with React.js.
• Strong proficiency in React and building interactive, responsive, and performant UIs.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented and functional programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with React hooks, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture.
• Experience with state management libraries and patterns (Redux/Flux).
• Strong knowledge of CSS methodologies, styling tools, and browser rendering behavior.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience using Git and collaboration platforms (GitHub/GitLab).
• Understanding of REST APIs and SOA concepts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles, tools, and workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and code quality.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Nice to have: experience with high-traffic apps, Node.js, SOLID principles, Docker, Linux/Bash.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the web development team and leadership to deliver features, dedicating ~70% to development and ~30% to support.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive, responsive, high-performance web apps using React.
• Contribute to selecting and implementing tools, technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Design scalable frontend architectures aligned with product requirements.
• Build efficient user interfaces using React hooks, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
• Manage application state using Redux, Flux, or other state management approaches.
• Develop and optimize CSS for maintainable styling and consistent UX.
• Integrate frontend apps with backend services via REST APIs.

Accountabilities

• Collaborate with the web development team and technology leadership to deliver product features, improvements, and technical solutions, allocating approximately 70% of your time to development and 30% to support activities.

Requirements:

• At least three years of professional experience developing web applications, including a minimum of two years working with React.js.

• Strong proficiency in React and experience building interactive, responsive, and performant user interfaces.

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and functional programming principles and design patterns.

• Practical experience with React hooks, TypeScript, and modern frontend application architecture.

• Experience with state management libraries and patterns, particularly Redux or Flux.

• Strong knowledge of CSS methodologies, styling tools, optimization techniques, and browser rendering behavior.

• Proficiency in modern JavaScript, including ES6, ES7, and ES8 standards.

• Experience using Git and code collaboration platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.

• Understanding of REST APIs and service-oriented architecture concepts.

• Familiarity with CI/CD principles, tools, and workflows.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
