Outlier is seeking experienced engineers to help shape autonomous agent development. This freelance, remote role offers pay up to $50 USD/hr with weekly payments and flexible hours.

You’ll work on real-world AI projects, building and testing multi-turn agent systems, and improving orchestration and data processing workflows. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in backend engineering or AI automation, a focus on production-grade software, and comfort working with live tools like Supabase and Gmail.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of backend engineering, AI automation, or complex systems integration.
• Proven ability to build and maintain production-grade software with modular separation.
• Experience with live environments and multi-turn system interactions.
• Outstanding attention to detail and ability to provide clear, high-density technical feedback.
