SeaOwl Group is seeking an experienced rotating equipment engineer for the VENUS offshore project with TotalEnergies. The role focuses on ensuring the technical and operational integration of rotating machinery across the FPSO lifecycle and across global sites.

Primary duties include coordinating between vendors and internal teams, driving reliability improvements, and supporting commissioning and start-up activities, with assignments in Paris, Singapore, and Geoje (South Korea).

• Assist the FPSO Lead rotating to ensure the technical and operational integration of rotating equipment throughout the FPSO project lifecycle.
• Guarantee compliance of engineering solutions with company standards and client requirements.
• Lead technical coordination between vendors, contractors, and internal project teams.
• Drive reliability and performance optimization of rotating machinery.
• Support commissioning and start-up phases in alignment with operational goals.
• Promote & comply in all activities with applicable safety instructions and other company HSE rules.

Description

The VENUS deep offshore Project is a key project for TotalEnergies as the first Oil & Gas facilities to be installed in Namibian waters with 3,000 m water depth and uncommon reservoir characteristics with a CAPEX > 10 BUSD. 38 wells to be drilled and completed (19 OP and 19 GI) with a DRILLEX > 3 BUSD; out of ~2/3 to be ready before First Oil date.

The Venus Project will be developed with the objectives to maximize economical results by optimizing the reserves, the schedule, reducing the costs and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission, while maintaining the technical quality of the installations, with high H3SE requirements and focus.

Interaction with people across different locations during project execution (from CTR engineering office to CTR yards, France and Namibia).

Objectifs et livrables

LOCATION: Between 1 and 2 years in Paris – France, up to 18 months in Singapore, up to 18 months in Geoje – South Korea.
