PARLYM is seeking a STATIC ENGINEER M/F to support the Lead Static Engineer across the project lifecycle in the oil and gas sector, with a focus on topside scope.

The ideal candidate has solid PVV experience in petroleum and offshore industries, plus hands-on knowledge of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and associated piping. Fluency in English and strong communication in a multicultural environment are essential.

• Degree qualification in relevant discipline.
• Solid PVV Engineer experience in petroleum, gas or offshore industries.
• Experience from detailed engineering through construction phase.
• Experience with pressure vessels and heat exchangers.

Responsabilités

• Work under Lead Static Engineer and support static activities across the project lifecycle.
• Review detailed design deliverables and provide comments within required timeframes.
• Support engineering oversight for static equipment, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping and valves (topsides).
• Ensure design/construction aligns with requirements, basic engineering, specs and international codes.
• Respond to technical queries and propose sound solutions.
• Coordinate with instrumentation, safety and other disciplines for balanced design decisions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to support interfaces and 3D model development.

POSTE / MISSIONS

You will have the role of STATIC ENGINEER M/F.

Key Responsibilities

• Work under the authority of the Lead Static Engineer and support static engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
• Review detailed design deliverables and provide comments within required timeframes, explaining technical feedback and following implementation through to closure.
• Support engineering oversight for static equipment, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, and valves associated mainly with topside scope.
• Ensure design and construction activities align with the statement of requirements, basic engineering, project specifications, procedures, and applicable international codes.
• Respond to technical queries related to static engineering and propose technically sound solutions.
• Liaise with other disciplines, including instrumentation and safety, to support effective technical coordination and balanced design decisions.
• Assist with package interfaces in coordination with relevant project stakeholders where static engineering input is required.
• Maintain regular communication with contractor counterparts and participate in technical meetings to review progress, clarify comments, and provide guidance.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, instrument, and electrical disciplines to support complete and accurate 3D model development.
• Provide regular feedback to the headquarters technical team and incorporate lessons learned from previous projects into current engineering activities.
• Ensure design modifications are properly tracked and implemented by the engineering and procurement contractor.
• Monitor contractor performance within the discipline and follow up engineering document reviews related to vessels.
• Witness or participate in inspections, receptions, and factory acceptance testing where required.
• Verify critical vessels at vendor premises before or during factory acceptance testing.
• Support, supervise, or coordinate vessel-related matters arising in other packages where applicable.
• Ensure adequate as-built drawings are delivered by the contractor at package factory acceptance testing stage.
• Participate in construction follow-up activities and report discipline-related anomalies observed on site, including proposed remedial actions.
• Promote compliance with safety instructions, company HSE expectations, and code of ethics requirements in all activities.

Required Education & Certifications

• Degree qualification in relevant discipline

Required Experience

• Solid experience as a PVV Engineer in the petroleum and gas or offshore industry
• Experience covering detailed engineering through to construction phase activities
• Experience with pressure vessels and heat exchangers

Required Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of static equipment, vessels, piping, and valves
• Ability to review engineering documents and manage technical comments in a timely and effective manner
• Knowledge of project specifications, engineering procedures, and international codes applicable to design and construction
• Ability to work across interfaces with multiple engineering disciplines
• English fluency
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
• Proactive approach, strong anticipation, and rigorous attention to detail

Preferred Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• French language capability
