Adoc Talent Management seeks a Founding Senior Research Scientist - Physical AI to define and lead a new lab’s research agenda in Toulouse. You will shape questions, design experiments, and steer the roadmap toward world models, model-based planning, and interfacing with real-world data.

You will publish in top venues, build collaborations with academic and industry teams, mentor junior researchers and PhD students, and help establish the lab’s scientific identity while balancing short-term

Formación

• PhD in machine learning, robotics, applied mathematics, physics, mechanics or a related field.
• Hands-on research experience with coding, experiments and evaluation of results.
• Strong publication record and ability to communicate scientific ideas clearly.
• Experience supervising or mentoring PhD students, interns or junior researchers is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Define and develop a research program for a new laboratory.
• Balance immediate company needs with long-term scientific ambitions and roadmap.
• Investigate research questions through original work: hypotheses, experiments and analysis.
• Collaborate with external teams, publish in leading venues, and contribute to open benchmarks.
