Latitude is seeking a Fluids Engineer to join the Fluid Department, contributing to the simulation, testing and integration of ground and onboard fluid systems for space operations.
You will own fluid and mechanical designs from architecture to integration, testing and launch, with CAD experience (Siemens NX) and 2+ years in aerospace or a demanding industry; remote work up to 2 days/week and a structured training plan are offered.
The Fluid Department is responsible for the development of the launcher’s onboard fluid systems, as well as the fluid systems for ground and test facilities.

As a Fluids Engineer, you will participate in several missions involving the simulation, testing and integration of ground and onboard equipment.
To test all engine elements, several test benches will be integrated by the end of the year. Then, the two stages will also need to be integrated and tested. Test results will need to be analyzed in order to assess the system response under real conditions.
Engineering degree or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline
Strong command of the basic principles of structural mechanics, incompressible and compressible flows, thermodynamics and materials
Knowledge of fluidic components, including valves, regulators, etc.
Full experience of the engineering design lifecycle.
Professional experience with Siemens NX preferred, or equivalent CAD software
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a team, with daily interactions with technicians, engineers and managers
More than 2 years of relevant experience in aerospace engineering or in an equally demanding industry
More than 2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, assembly and/or testing
More than 2 years of experience in designing parts and assemblies using CAD software
