Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse, France, is seeking a Flight Test Software Technician to join the Flight and Integration Tests Center. You will develop, validate, and deploy embedded software for Flight Test Instrumentation, ensuring data integrity and secure test flight execution.

You will generate software packages from developer components, deploy on test benches, run integration and non-regression tests, and deliver documented packages to onboard flight test systems.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IT systems integration activities.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash for test automation.
• Experience with Git, SVN and Jira for versioning and ticketing.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Technical English to read documentation and write incident tickets.

Job Description

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Flight Test Software Technician (f/m) to join our Flight and Integration Tests Center based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing support, maintenance, testing, and deployment of embedded applications on Flight Test Instrumentation. As part of the software integration team, you will be involved in assembling, validating, and delivering software packages for the Flight Test Engineer Station aiming at ensuring data integrity and securing test flight execution.

• Deploy software packages on test benches, execute test plans (integration, non-regression), and analyze anomalies.
• Deliver final software packages securely to onboard flight test systems with all required documentation.
• Propose improvements to optimize working methods, modernise procedures, and increase test automation.

Your boarding pass

• Strong knowledge of IT systems integration activities and test environments.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (Python, Bash) to automate test procedures and deliverable generation.
• Experience with software configuration management tools (Git, SVN) and ticketing systems (Jira) for full traceability.
• Proficiency with Windows and/or Linux operating systems, alongside basic SQL database querying skills.
• Technical English capability to read technical documentation and write incident tickets efficiently.

This position requires a security clearance or will be eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
