Responsabilités

  • Monitor worldwide weather conditions and provide reports and briefings for flight test preparation in Toulouse, Hamburg, Sevilla, and external missions.
  • Notify crews of weather-dependent test opportunities and provide real-time in-flight decision support via telemetry and SATCOM/VHF links.
  • Minimize planning risks for the flight test program.
  • Drive the transformation and improvement of weather forecasting tools used for flight testing.
  • Conduct ad-hoc meteorological studies and support other Airbus entities.

Job Description:Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Flight Operations Support - Meteorologist (f/m) to join our Operational Control Center within the Flight & Integration Test Centre in Toulouse, France .You will join a passionate team at the heart of aircraft integration and airline operation testing, assisting flight test crews (engineers and pilots) in their decision-making for weather-dependent flights.Your working environment:Global capital of aeronautics and European capital for space research, Toulouse is a dynamic city in the southwest of France served by an international airport.
