Europcar recherche un analyste risque flotte pour exploiter les données et fournir des insights afin soutenir les décisions dans la gestion des actifs de la flotte. Le poste relève du responsable groupe risque.

Vous travaillerez sur le nettoyage et la transformation des données, l’application de méthodes statistiques et le développement de modèles prédictifs pour les véhicules d’occasion et la maintenance.

Qualifications

• Licence en finance, économie, data science, statistiques ou mathématiques.
• Solide compréhension de l’analyse et de la modélisation des données.
• Français et anglais courants; une autre langue européenne est souhaitable.

Responsabilités

• Nettoyer, prétraiter et transformer les données internes et externes.
• Appliquer analyses statistiques, ML et data mining sur de grands jeux de données.
• Maintenir et optimiser le modèle de prévision de valeur résiduelle.
• Développer des modèles prédictifs et méthodes statistiques.
• Backtester les modèles et documenter les procédures.

Job Description

Main objectives

Leverage fleet data and statistical techniques to extract insights and support data-driven decision-making within the fleet asset management function.

This role reports to the Group head of risk management.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

The fleet risk analyst is in charge of:

• Cleaning, preprocessing and transforming internal and external data related to used car remarketing and fleet maintenance and repairs into usable formats.
• Applying statistical analysis, machine learning and data mining techniques to analyze large and complex datasets.
• Maintaining, optimizing and fine-tuning current residual values forecast model to improve its performance, accuracy and scalability.
• Developing and implementing additional predictive models, algorithms and statistical methodologies to derive actionable insights and make accurate predictions, in particular but not only in the fleet maintenance and repairs area.
• Backtesting the models to verify their performance and implement corrections if needed.
• Documenting modeling and maintenance procedures.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

• Internal:
  • Works closely with the Group risk manager for all at-risk residual values, repair & maintenance calculation parameters.
  • Product & Tech - Data & Analytics team.
• External:
  • Automotive data providers.

PERSONAL PROFILE OF POSITION HOLDER

• Bachelor degree in finance, economics or data science, statistics, mathematics required.
• Solid understanding of data analytics and modeling.
• Computer skills:
  • Excel, SAS, VBA or other analytical platform is mandatory.
  • Programming languages such as Python with data manipulation, analysis libraries and machine learning frameworks is a plus.
• Interest in automotive industry and economic theory.
• Languages: Fluent English and one other European language (German, French, Italian, Spanish).

MAJOR AREAS OF COMPETENCY NECESSARY FOR SUCCESS

• Proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions and generating actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
