Job summary

MaiaSpace is seeking a proactive First Stage Software and Ground Operations Engineer to join the First Stage Team in Fontainebleau, France. You will contribute to on-board software algorithms, validation logic, simulators, and ground/flight phase sequences, collaborating with avionics, ground infrastructures and operation teams.

English and French communication are required; agility and autonomy are valued.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with ideally specialization in fluid topics or software development.
• At least 2 years experience in the related field.
• English level sufficient to read and write technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to First Stage fluid on-board software development in collaboration with First Stage fluid function responsibles and avionics software teams - including definition of First Stage fluid on-board algorithms.
• Consolidation of First Stage fluid on-board software validation logic.
• Validation of First Stage fluid algorithms.
• Definition of validation simulators as needed.
• Configuration management of First Stage fluid on-board algorithms (including algorithms, data, coherence with mission).
• Contributing to the consolidation of First Stage ground and flight phase sequences.
• Contributing to the definition of First Stage fluid ground phase operations with operation teams - including operational requirements for fluid operations covering assembly & integration, tests, fluid operations in launch pad zone.
• Definition of specifications to ground command & control software as needed.
• Validation of operational requirements.
• Configuration management of operational requirements.
