Job summary

Micron is seeking an Engineer, Firmware Test in France to drive SSD firmware verification and validation through structured test development and regression analysis. You will work with firmware engineers to improve code quality and product reliability while reporting findings and mitigation plans to cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

B.Sc. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive firmware verification plans for SSD features.
Execute white-box, grey-box, and system-level tests to verify and validate firmware functionality.
Analyze regression failures and perform structured root-cause analysis for firmware-related issues.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback that supports firmware quality and test coverage.
Collaborate with firmware development engineers to improve code quality and product reliability.
Communicate technical challenges, solutions, and mitigation plans to cross-functional stakeholders.
