Suntory Global Spirits in Paris is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their team. You'll prepare financial statements in compliance with French and international accounting standards, while collaborating with other departments and tax advisors.

With over 5 years of accounting experience and strong knowledge of SAP, you will support financial processes and ensure adherence to statutory requirements. The company promotes a diverse and inclusive environment.

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with company policies.

Role Responsibilities

• Support in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in France in accordance with established deadlines and Company policies and Accounting Principles (SP GAAP and IFRS)
• Monthly account review as well as reconciliation and control of the balance sheet and income statement
• Review of the alcohol tax
• Business partner for the interfaces
• Responsibility on ensuring Statutory requirements are met.
• Monitoring, ensuring and compliance with company guidelines
• Cooperation with tax advisors and auditors
• Support of projects in the finance sector

Qualifications

• Completed commercial training, preferably with further development in Finance (Balance Sheet Accountant) or university degree in finance
• 5+ years of professional experience in accounting, in particular preparing monthly and annual financial statements
• Good knowledge of SAP / R3 FI and BW/EDW
• Good knowledge of dealing with MS OFFICE, especially Excel
• Very good written and spoken English
• Process / departmental thinking
• Teamwork, flexibility, and resilience
