CMA CGM Group, a global leader in shipping and logistics, is seeking a Financial Controller Expert to oversee the quality and consolidation of financial information produced by its subsidiaries, including air transport and maritime divisions, with the head office in Marseille. You will implement procedures, train financial teams, and participate in internal control reviews across international sites. A Master’s in Finance and 7+ years in audit and multinational groups are expected.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance.
  • At least 7 years' experience, ideally in an audit firm.
  • Experience in an international group is preferred.
  • Rigor, proactivity and commitment are valued.

Responsabilités

  • Set up and implement accounting and financial procedures and organizations, including cost and revenue control.
  • Check monthly financial statements for consolidation and parent company reporting.
  • Implement actions to ensure regular and high-quality financial statements in monthly closes.
  • Support Group processes and procedures in subsidiaries.
  • Train and support financial correspondents in subsidiaries.
  • Provide on-site support for internal control reviews and finance management, travel to subsidiaries as needed.

Financial Controller Expert - Others Activities Scope

YOUR ROLE

You ensure the quality, reliability and consistency of the financial information produced by our subsidiaries covering the following areas of activity: air transport (CC Air Cargo), specialized maritime transport (La Méridionale, car carriers such as Brittany Ferries), port terminals, media (press and audio), in accordance with the financial statements closing schedule. You participate in the development and reinforcement of operational internal control within subsidiaries.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Participate in setting up and implementing accounting and financial procedures and organizations (including cost and revenue control processes) and carry out on-site control or assistance assignments.
  • Check monthly financial statements for consolidation and production of parent company financial statements.
  • Implement corrective actions to guarantee the regularity and quality of the financial statements within the framework of the monthly production of the Group's financial statements.
  • Participate in the efficient implementation of Group processes and procedures in subsidiaries.
  • Train and support financial correspondents in subsidiaries.
  • Provide on-site support for internal control reviews, control assignments and financial management assistance (travel to subsidiaries to be planned).

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • With a Master’s degree in Finance, you have at least 7 years' experience, ideally gained in an audit firm, followed by an experience in an international group.
  • Recognized for your rigor, proactivity and commitment, you would like to work in a large international group that is constantly evolving.
