Jobtailor in Bordeaux is seeking a Finance Controller to partner with Marketing teams across local markets and to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. You will monitor marketing spend, validate cost allocations, and prepare monthly CFO reports, while leading bi-monthly reviews for multiple countries.

The role requires a Master’s in Finance or Management Control, 5 years in management control, fluency in French and English, and Basel in Bordeaux.

• Master’s degree in Finance or Management Control.
• 5 years of experience in management control.
• Fluent in French and English (B2) written and spoken.
• Based in Bordeaux for the permanent position.

Responsabilités

• Act as a business partner for Marketing teams and local markets.
• Support budget management, targets, and financial analysis.
• Participate in budgeting and reforecasting cycles.
• Analyze variances and support corrective actions.
• Monitor and validate marketing spending commitments.
• Ensure consistency with budgets, forecasts, countries, and cost allocations.
• Manage and monitor marketing invoices and validate accurate cost allocation before Accounting processing.
• Lead bi-monthly financial reviews with France, Portugal, Poland, and Côte d’Ivoire.
• Prepare monthly reporting for the CFO.
• Contribute to presentations for the Executive Committee, Management Committee, and shareholders.
• Produce regulatory reporting and manage relationships with relevant regulatory bodies.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement of financial processes using Excel macros and Pigment.
• Handle ad hoc analyses and requests related to Marketing investments and performance.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Management Control or a related field
• 5 years of experience in management control
• Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint
• Ideally, knowledge of BI or ERP tools
• Experience in an international environment or within the tech industry
• Fluent in French and English (B2 minimum), spoken and written
• Autonomy, initiative, and ability to suggest and implement practical improvements
• Available immediately
• Based in Bordeaux for the permanent position
