Job Description

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance in multinational or multi-entity organizations, ideally within France.
• The D365 Finance Consultant will lead the design, configuration, and validation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance processes, covering Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C), Asset to Report (A2R), Cost Accounting, Consolidation, and Financial Reporting.
• The role requires strong finance domain knowledge, hands-on D365 experience, and expertise in supporting global finance transformations.
• Lead and conduct functional workshops across core Finance areas (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash & Bank, Costing, Closing & Consolidation).
• Develop and maintain functional design documents, configuration guides, and test scripts for D365 Finance modules.
• Perform fit-gap analysis between AX and D365, identifying business gaps, risks, and recommending viable solutions.
• Collaborate with integration teams to validate data flows between D365 and legacy or external systems.
• Partner with business controllers to define budgeting structures, cost centers, and financial reporting frameworks.
• Configure and support chart of accounts, financial dimensions, intercompany mappings, and consolidation structures.
• Manage UAT, end-user training, and cutover activities for Finance scope.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and French statutory accounting standards.
• Support data migration and reconciliation activities for master data, balances, and historical records between AX and D365.
• Collaborate with Planning and Reporting teams to ensure financial data consistency across end-to-end business processes.
• Strong knowledge of R2R, P2P, O2C, A2R, and Cost Accounting processes.
• Experience integrating D365 with third-party systems (Payroll, Expense Management, Procurement, BI).
• Hands‑on configuration experience across GL, AP, AR, FA, and Cash Management modules.
• Understanding of local statutory and group reporting, with familiarity in Power BI preferred.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• D365 Finance Functional Certification (MB-310 or equivalent).
• Experience with cost accounting in manufacturing or service-based industries.
• Prior involvement in multinational ERP rollouts or upgrades (D365) within France.
