ENGIE Campus in La Garenne-Colombes, France, is seeking an Assistant Business Controller Intern to support the FinOps BP Clients team in monitoring financial performance and driving reporting improvements.

You will help with monthly closings, variance analysis, dashboards in Excel and Power BI, and automation using VBA or Python, while collaborating with Front Office, Back Office and Risk teams.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Finance, Management Control or related field.
• Strong interest in financial analysis, business performance and controlling activities.
• First internship or academic project in management control, finance, reporting or analysis is appreciated.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to financial performance reports, including P&L monitoring and cash flow forecasts.
• Support monthly closings and consolidation processes.
• Maintain and enhance dashboards with Excel and Power BI.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between accounting and economic data.
• Automate reporting and controlling processes via VBA, Power Query, Python or similar tools.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Back Office, Accounting and Risk teams.
• Support continuous improvement for efficiency and data quality.
