Orion Animal Health is seeking a senior finance leader to head the Biové manufacturing site's finance function. You will lead a small local team and partner with global finance to harmonize processes and drive governance, automation, and continuous improvement across the organization.

You will own financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial support for local operations while collaborating with teams across France, Belgium, and Finland.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounting.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, audits, tax, and compliance.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Previous people management experience.
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Lead all accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, and compliance activities for the Biové entity.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Coordinate statutory reporting, audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and payment processes.
• Collaborate with Controlling on product costing, inventory valuation, and cost analyses.
• Partner with HR on personnel cost and FTE follow-up and budgeting.

About the role

Reporting directly to the Finance Director Animal Health, you will lead a local finance team of two finance professionals and play a key role within both the local management team and the wider international finance organization.

This position offers a unique combination of local ownership and international exposure. You will collaborate closely with finance colleagues across France, Belgium, and Finland while contributing to the harmonization, simplification, and continuous improvement of finance processes across Orion Animal Health.

You will be responsible for the overall finance function of the Biové manufacturing site, ensuring reliable financial reporting, strong governance, statutory compliance, and providing strategic financial support to local operations.

Key responsibilities

Finance management

• Lead all accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, and compliance activities for the Biové entity
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Coordinate statutory reporting, audits, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and payment processes

Business & operations support

• Collaborate closely with the Controlling team on product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost analyses
• Partner with HR on personnel cost and FTE follow-up
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Act as a key finance partner for local management, balancing business needs with financial governance requirements.

Leadership & continuous improvement

• Lead, coach, and develop a local finance team of two professionals
• Strengthen internal controls and continuously improve finance processes
• Drive harmonization and standardization across the Animal Health finance organization
• Promote automation, digitalization and AI‑enabled ways of working
• Build strong relationships with local and international stakeholders

Our expectations

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounting
• Strong experience in financial reporting, audits, tax, and compliance
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred
• Previous people management experience
• Experience working in an international organization is considered an asset
• Fluent in French and English
