Jobtailor is seeking a fieldwork-focused candidate to participate in the setup of field trials and nurseries, perform sowing, scoring, observations and harvests, and ensure adherence to experimental protocols at our station in Champhol, France.

The role requires pursuing Bac+2 to Bac+5 in agronomy or related fields, motivation for fieldwork and seasonal activities, strong rigor and organizational skills, teamwork, practical ability, and a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a post-secondary qualification equivalent to Bac+2 to Bac+5 in agronomy, crop production or agricultural experimentation.
• Motivated by fieldwork and seasonal activities.
• Demonstrates rigor, organization and autonomy.
• Enjoys working in a team and has good practical skills.
• A valid car driving license is required.

Responsabilités

• Participate in the setup of field trials and nurseries.
• Carry out sowing, scoring/assessments, observations and harvests.
• Ensure adherence to experimental protocols.
• Collect and record agronomic data.
• Monitor experimental plots throughout the season.
• Prepare the equipment required for various field activities.
• Contribute to the daily operations of the station and ensure trials run smoothly.
