Position Summary

We are seeking a driven and technical Field Sales Engineer to join our team in France. The Field Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting sales and securing orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach. This role involves demonstrating products, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote sales and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
  • Demonstrate products to existing/potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Analyse potential and existing markets to identify and secure business development opportunities.
  • Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and sales contracts to attract clients.
  • Develop and maintain our CRM and make regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain knowledge of all products.
  • Attend and participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
  • Coordinate with the company’s service and quality departments to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure that the products meet customers’ expectations.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
You will also be expected to:

Qualifications
  • College degree or above in engineering, or business-related fields.
  • Over three years of work experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and expression skills.
  • Strong teamwork spirit, able to adapt to business trips, and willing to accept challenges.
  • Proficient in computer software systems including MS Office and MS Excel.
  • Working knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and data analysis.
  • Excellent motivational skills and collaborates well with a team but also able to work alone.
  • Experience with building relationships, and dedication to customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Knowledge of sales practices and the most efficient customer service techniques.
  • Ability to offer excellent customer service.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, able to pay strong attention to detail.
Additional Information
  • This position requires organization and focus to serve the needs of customers from many different technical and scientific disciplines with varying applications and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • The Field Sales Engineer will be a brand ambassador, representing the company via frequent customer interaction daily via phone and email, as well as trade show support and occasional customer site visits.
