Job summary

Mistral is seeking a hands-on Robotics Operations Specialist to support teleoperation sessions, robot benchmarks, robotics data quality, and evaluation runs. You will work closely with engineers and operators to ensure sessions run on time and on spec, trouble-shoot hardware issues in real time, and help improve operational processes.

Travel to client sites to onboard operators, collect feedback, and maintain high data and hardware standards in collaboration with research teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with physical robotics hardware and teleoperation systems.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with engineers and operators.
• Ability to work autonomously and apply independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support during teleoperation sessions: setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Debug equipment issues and escalate hardware faults when needed.
• Schedule sessions, onboard operators, and ensure session-readiness.
• Travel to client sites to train operators on teleoperation protocols.
• Represent operators to hardware and data teams and collect usability feedback.
• Support robot benchmarks and evaluations with research and engineering teams.
• Review data quality, onboard annotators, and analyze collection performance.
• Verify hardware, software, and peripherals work across the robotics stack.
