Job summary

wpd windmanager in Arras, France, seeks a Field Operations Manager to lead field activities on wind and solar farms. The role requires experience in renewable asset operations and managing a technical team of four technicians.

You will oversee site inspections, drone blade checks, and ensure compliance with HSE and contractual obligations. Master's in engineering and ability to work at height with a valid B license are required, along with fluent English.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Ability to work at height; H2V/B2V electrical authorization and valid Category B license.
Fluent English; professional communication in a multinational team.
Experience operating wind and/or solar power assets and managing field teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the Field Operations team across site inspections, drone blade inspections and field activities.
Plan, supervise and coordinate site visits and technical interventions.
Ensure services comply with contractual, regulatory and HSE requirements.
Participate in recruitment, onboarding and development of team members.
Contribute to commercial development by identifying new technical services.
Monitor wind/solar farms daily for alarms, failures, and safety issues.
Monitor contracts and KPIs (availability, performance).
Prepare technical reports for investors, banks and PPA counterparties.
