Abbott is seeking a Field Technical Engineer in Electrophysiology to provide clinical and technical support to healthcare professionals across Western France. You will assist physicians during EP procedures, deliver product demonstrations, and run training programs to promote safe and effective use of Abbott EP technologies.

Based in Nantes, you will travel extensively (70–80%), build strong relationships with physicians, nurses and hospital staff, support clinical studies and case follow-ups,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical/medical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in electrophysiology or cardiac rhythm management.
• Understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology and EP procedures.
• Experience in catheterization labs and/or operating rooms.
• Proven ability to provide technical clinical support during complex procedures.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational skills; able to work independently.
• Valid driving license.
• Fluent in French and English (minimum B2).

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site clinical and technical support during EP procedures.
• Assist physicians and hospital staff in the safe and effective use of Abbott EP technologies.
• Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and clinical training programs.
• Support Sales with technical expertise and customer engagement.
• Support clinical studies including case support and physician follow-up activities.
• Gather market intelligence and share relevant information with internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all Abbott quality systems, policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and activity reports.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, and hospital decision-makers.
• Proactively manage territory planning, travel scheduling, and customer support activities.
• Represent Abbott professionally and uphold integrity and ethical conduct.
• Support cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with internal teams.
