Job summary

Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is seeking a Driver for field data collection projects in Poitiers, France. You will operate vehicles equipped for 360° imagery and lidar, follow routes, and ensure data quality and safety during long days on the road.

The role requires a valid EU driver's license, a clean background, at least 5 years of driving experience, and fluency in English and French. You should be tech-savvy and comfortable with Google Workspace tools.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid EU-issued driver’s license.
• Maintains a clean background check (criminal and driving record).
• Has at least 5 years of driving experience.
• Possesses professional driving experience (e.g., taxi, delivery, logistics).
• Proficient in English and the local language (French).
• Tech-savvy, with experience using GSuite tools (Gmail, Google Spreadsheets, Google Forms).
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles to collect data along pre-assigned routes (streets, areas of interest).
• Ensure safety and data quality during field work and long driving days.
• Coordinate with project managers and support staff for data collection schedules.
• Maintain vehicle and report issues promptly.
• Adapt to weather and routing changes while meeting project targets.
