Events Manager – Regulatory Services

EMEA homebased with up to 20% travel to support event delivery

About the role

Reporting to the Global Events Manager, the Events Manager – Regulatory Services will play a key role in driving the growth and success of BSI’s event portfolio — including in‑person, hybrid, and virtual events. This role focuses on increasing event participation, maximizing lead generation, and ensuring high‑quality event execution that enhances brand engagement and supports the organization’s overall marketing goals.

Responsibilities:

Take ownership of planning, managing, and delivering both BSI‑hosted and third‑party events, ensuring all activities meet BSI’s compliance standards, quality benchmarks, and best practices. Day to day responsibilities include:

1. Event Planning & Execution
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver high‑quality events from concept through to completion, ensuring an excellent attendee experience.
  • Manage event logistics, budgets, and vendor relationships to deliver cost‑efficient and compliant events.
  • Oversee administrative processes, including purchase orders, invoice management, and budget tracking.
  • Collaborate with the Global Events team to maintain accurate records and event databases.
  • Provide on‑site support and coordination for key events as required.
  • Lead cross‑functional event projects, ensuring clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and alignment throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Manage and maintain event‑related materials, inventory, and assets (e.g., booths, roll‑up banners, merchandise, etc.).
2. Campaign Planning & Delivery
  • Work with the Marketing Managers, Marketing Executives, Technical Experts and Event Managers to plan, schedule and deliver a year‑round calendar of event campaigns.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive event awareness, registrations, and engagement across the marketing mix, including email, content, social, PR, ads, and trade media, tailored to event promotion.
  • Create compelling content and assets for event promotion (landing pages, registration forms, promotional materials, collateral).
3. Measurement & Analysis
  • Track and analyse event performance metrics (registrations, attendance, leads, conversions).
  • Use analytics tools (CRM, Google Analytics, Pardot, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) to evaluate events and campaign effectiveness and optimise future event marketing activities and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Gather, analyse, and communicate event outcomes, attendee feedback, and key insights to Marketing, Events, Sales, and RS teams to inform future event planning and continuous improvement.
4. Communication & Collaboration
  • Foster cross‑functional collaboration to ensure alignment and consistency in event messaging and execution.
  • Share event learnings, outcomes, and best practices across the business to foster continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed on new event marketing trends, tools, and best practices to enhance campaign delivery.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience executing marketing campaigns with a strong focus on events. Life science, medical devices or healthcare background preferred.
  • Proven experience in lead generation and campaign management across digital and offline channels.
  • Experience working within large, global, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience working with event organizers and supporting event logistics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools such as Pardot, CMS, CRM, Google Analytics, and LinkedIn Ads.
