Schneider Electric in France seeks a skilled Data & Privacy lawyer to lead end-to-end data matters within the Digital Trust & Software Legal team. You will shape group standards, translate regulations into contracts, templates and playbooks, and advise on data localization and cross-border access.

Based in Île-de-France (Rueil-Malmaison preferred) or Grenoble, you will collaborate with Cybersecurity, AI, DPO Office and Engineering teams to balance business opportunities with regulatory

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Law; 3–5 years in technology/Data law.
• Experience across data governance, sharing/access and transfers.
• Exposure to EU Data Act or similar regimes is a plus.
• Strong command of GDPR compliance; familiarity with CIPP/E is a plus.
• Fluent English; French/Spanish languages are assets.

Responsabilités

• Drive practical deployment of Data Act, Data Governance Act, cloud rules and data requirements into contracts and templates.
• Determine and deploy contractual instruments for data holder/user/supplier scenarios.
• Monitor interactions between Data regulation and GDPR, NIS2, CRA and AI Act.
• Advise on data localization, cloud and cross-border data access across jurisdictions.
• Guide use of industrial/operational data, analytics and AI-enabled use cases.
• Review and negotiate data-related clauses across supplier/customer/partner contracts; create templates.
• Support EU data privacy matters with the DPO Office and train teams.
• Collaborate with Legal, Data, Cybersecurity, AI and Engineering teams.
