Job summary

ALSTOM in Saint-Ouen is seeking a Certification and Authorization Specialist for ERTMS Onboard Signalling Projects. You’ll apply detailed certification and authorization expertise to demonstrate safety standards and compliance across the rail systems we deliver.

You’ll collect evidence for certification, coordinate with independent assessors and external partners, and collaborate with Engineering, RAMS, Quality and Planning teams to keep documentation current and well organized.

Qualifications

• Experience or understanding of certification processes and safety standards in rail signalling.
• Knowledge of ERTMS and other signalling systems.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration with diverse teams.
• A certification in project management or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prepare Certification and/or Authorization requirements
• Gather and compile evidence required for certification processes
• Organize periodic reviews of documentation and assessment reports
• Keeping certification data up-to-date in requirement management tools
• Compiling and monitoring relevant Certification & Authorization reports
• Working closely with the project team and external partners
• Participating in the tracking of modifications of certified/authorized vehicle configurations
