Job summary

AlpSemi is seeking an experienced WBGEpitaxyEngineer to support the development of semiconductor devices. You will join the advanced materials team to develop epitaxy processes, work closely with process engineering and device teams, and contribute to optimization, documentation, and IP development.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or PhD in materials science with a strong foundation in semiconductor physics.
• 3–5 years of experience in epitaxy.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Autonomy, rigour, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize epitaxial structures to meet material specifications.
• Propose and execute work plans for epitaxial growth.
• Optimize characterization processes, analyze product drifts, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to basic maintenance of the epitaxy reactor.
• Participate in the characterization of epitaxial layers.
• Document work and present results in technical meetings.
• Contribute to intellectual property development.
