The United Nations Environment Programme seeks an Environmental Law and Governance Specialist consultant to advance policy and institutional reforms related to investment readiness in critical energy transition minerals in Mozambique. The assignment includes field and desk research, stakeholder engagement, and drafting analytical reports.

Responsabilités

• Draft a report on gaps and needs of Mozambique policies and frameworks for investment readiness in CETM.
• Develop recommendations for reforming Mozambique’s policy and institutional frameworks for CETM investment readiness.
• Facilitate stakeholder consultations and validation workshops with national and local stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on the work conducted.
• Provide regular updates to UNEP, UNECA and stakeholders and carry out other assigned tasks.
