Arago is seeking an Enterprise Architect – Data & AI in Paris. You will shape high-value architecture engagements, define target architectures (Data Mesh/Fabric/Lakehouse), and drive governance across complex multi-vendor environments.

You will lead audits, design AI-ready architectures and ensure GDPR compliance while leveraging SAP ecosystem knowledge. Hybrid Paris-based role with occasional travel for client engagements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field.
• Significant experience in Data Architecture, Enterprise Architecture or Solution Architecture.
• Strong experience in consulting or client-facing environments.

You will design and govern target data and enterprise architectures for our clients across heterogeneous, multi-vendor environments, while leveraging Arago’s SAP expertise as a strong entry point when relevant.

Job Description

As an Enterprise Architect – Data & AI, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering high-value architecture engagements for our clients. You will be responsible for defining target architectures, leading architecture audits and roadmaps, supporting business data use cases, and ensuring the consistency and quality of solutions delivered across client missions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead client data and enterprise architecture audits
• Define target architectures such as Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Lakehouse and AI-ready architectures
• Work hands-on with business lines to understand data use cases, gather needs and present recommendations to decision-makers
• Design vendor-agnostic integration and data architectures across heterogeneous environments, including cloud, ERP, HRIS, integration and BI platforms
• Leverage strong knowledge of the SAP ecosystem, including SuccessFactors, S/4HANA and BDC, while remaining technology-agnostic
• Embed Agentic AI as a strategic horizon in client engagements, assessing feasibility, guardrails and compliance
• Set architecture standards, governance principles and design-review practices reusable across client missions
• Produce architecture deliverables such as High-Level Designs, Architecture Decision Records, roadmaps and technical specifications
• Ensure data governance, observability, security and GDPR / nLPD compliance within target architectures
• Stay at the forefront of Data & AI technologies and contribute to the development of reusable assets and expertise within the Data Line of Business

You will also have a leadership role within the Data LoB:

• Lead, coach and develop Lead Integration Architects and Solution Architects
• Allocate and prioritize architecture resources across deals and missions
• Secure delivery quality and consistency across engagements
• Support complex project arbitrations and technical escalations
• Contribute to the development and structuring of Arago’s Data & AI architecture offering

You may also be involved in:

• Pre-sales activities and client demonstrations
• Qualification of opportunities and scoping of offers, including Data Architecture 360
• Estimation and staffing of architecture engagements
• Collaboration with Sales, Pre-sales, Delivery and technology partners
• Development of thought leadership, reusable methodologies and internal best practices

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field
• Significant experience in Data Architecture, Enterprise Architecture or Solution Architecture
• Strong experience in consulting or client-facing environments
• Proven ability to design target architectures across complex, multi-vendor environments
• Strong knowledge of data architecture patterns such as Data Mesh, Data Fabric and Lakehouse
• Solid understanding of cloud environments, ideally AWS, Azure and/or GCP
• Experience with integration platforms and iPaaS solutions such as Boomi or equivalent
• Good understanding of BI ecosystems, including Power BI or equivalent tools
• Knowledge of AI / ML concepts, including LLM frameworks, RAG and Agentic AI approaches
• Strong understanding of data governance, observability, security and regulatory topics such as GDPR / nLPD
• SAP ecosystem knowledge is a strong asset, especially SAP SuccessFactors, S/4HANA or BDC
• Cloud certifications are highly desirable
• SAP certification is appreciated
• Fluency in French and English is required
