Scaleway is looking for a skilled engineer to lead the development of a new Marketplace platform in Lille, France. This role involves designing architecture, developing backend services using Go and SQL, managing artifacts, and creating robust APIs. Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills, experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and a talent for leading teams. Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Go and experience with Python.
• Solid experience in SQL and database management.
• Expertise in Linux system administration and internals.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record in building APIs and distributed architectures.
• Deep understanding of microservices and scalability.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience in creating and managing artifacts (OS images, containers).

Why we need you?

Our growth is driving us to strengthen our Marketplace team to build a brand‑new product from the ground up, managing the creation and distribution of core artifacts like OS images and container images. Your mission will be to lead and develop the software components and architecture for our Marketplace platform in order to deliver a scalable, diverse, and high‑performance product offering to all Scaleway users.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the Marketplace platform architecture from scratch
