Canonical seeks a Software Engineering Manager to lead its Linux Enablement team, working with top-tier OEM and ODM customers. This role requires strong leadership, a solid technical background in Linux systems, and experience in project management. You'll be tasked with mentoring your team, ensuring quality product delivery, and collaborating across engineering teams to drive project success. Ideal candidates possess effective communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor (or higher) degree in STEM, preferably computer science or software engineering.
• Proven track record in technical roles with Linux, preferably Ubuntu or Debian.
• Experience with management responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the software engineering team to deliver OEM enablement projects.
• Recruit, motivate, mentor, and enable your team to succeed in delivering quality products.
• Coordinate with project managers, HWE, QA and certification management.
• Monitor projects from kickoff to post-mortem and handle escalations.
