Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a motivated intern in its Test Solutions Engineering group in France to develop and maintain test programs for Micron SSD products in high-volume manufacturing.

You will work on validating new SSD technologies, optimizing test methods, and automating tasks with Python while collaborating with product and equipment engineers. You’ll gain hands-on experience with AI-assisted tools, data-driven process improvements, and a strong team culture that emphasizes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Engineering-related courses.
• Proficiency in Python programming, with enthusiasm for developing and improving code.
• Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Git, or similar engineering workflow tools.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills for test and manufacturing environments.
• Agility to manage and execute prioritized action items from both tactical and strategic perspectives.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts with exposure to AI-assisted engineering or productivity tools would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
• Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred
• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem-solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test programs of Micron SSD products in high volume manufacturing to ensure Micron SSD products meet their specifications.
• Design new test programs for validation and testing of new SSD product/technology during start-up phase.
• Optimize test programs and test methodology to reduce product test times.
• Automate test engineering processes by writing software scripts to improve efficiency.
• Enhance test coverage to ensure best-in-class outgoing quality.
• Work closely with product and equipment engineering teams to improve overall product yields and equipment efficiency in order to maximize ROI.
• Collaborate with test capacity and manufacturing teams to meet production output goals.
• Develop and monitor process and engineering metrics to ensure stability, efficiency and effectiveness of test processes.
• Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness.
• Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
