Sonoco, a global packaging leader based in Saint-Ouen (Paris), seeks an Internal Audit Intern to support the EMEA Internal Audit team in financial, operational, and SOX compliance activities. You will assist in planning, process mapping, testing, data analysis and reporting, gaining exposure to manufacturing operations and governance practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Bac+4/5 in Audit, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• First experience in audit, accounting, finance or controlling is a plus.
• Fluent English; French at least intermediate; other European languages a plus.

Responsabilités

• Audit execution across the EMEA region, supporting financial, operational and compliance audits.
• Document business processes, risks and internal controls with walkthroughs and evidence review.
• Perform audit testing, analyze evidence and maintain clear workpapers; identify control gaps.
• Support SOX testing and related documentation; assist in data analytics and reporting.
• Contribute to risk assessments, audit planning and follow-up on remediation actions.
• Travel within Europe for audit assignments as needed.
